ARARAT’S TESTIMONY

By Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan

This morning, as I was flying back to New York from Armenia, I looked out of the airplane window and saw the magnificent Mount Ararat. What a sight! This mountain stands as a living reminder of God’s unwavering promises and the incredible resilience of His people. It was on these very slopes that Noah’s Ark came to rest after the great flood, a story that speaks volumes about God’s faithfulness and the strength of those who trust in Him (Genesis 6:11–9:19).

Mount Ararat is more than just a mountain. It’s a beacon of hope, a symbol that no matter how turbulent life’s waters might be, God’s promises remain unshakeable. The Ark resting on that mountain represents a fresh start, a renewal. It’s also a testament to the enduring spirit of the Armenian people, a reminder that we are a people that rises above challenges and thrives against the odds.

Throughout history, we’ve faced tremendous challenges, yet our faith and perseverance have always shone brightly. Our journey, filled with both trials and triumphs, reflects the strength we see in Noah’s story. Even in the midst of great floods and enduring struggles, we’ve held onto our faith and found hope in God’s promises.

Our resilience isn’t just a product of our own strength but of God’s incredible grace working within us. When we lean into His promises and trust in His plan, we find the strength to rise above our challenges and come out stronger on the other side.

Here’s a powerful truth: God’s promises are like that mountain—steadfast and unmovable. When everything around us seems to be shifting, when it feels like we’re being tossed about, we can hold onto the fact that God’s love and faithfulness never change. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. Life’s storms may seem relentless, but like Noah, we are called to rise above, to see the promise of a new day, and to hold fast to our faith.

So, let’s face each day with confidence, knowing that no matter what we encounter, God is right there with us. He’s not a distant observer; He’s an active participant in our lives. Remember that God’s promises are true, His faithfulness is unwavering, and His love is boundless. Let’s walk boldly in His promises, knowing that He is with us every step of the way.
