THE ENTHRONEMENT SERVICE OF THE 13TH PRIMATE OF THE EASTERN DIOCESE

In a joyous, dignified service at New York’s St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral, Diocesan Primate Fr. Mesrop Parsamyan reflected on the Apostolic character of the Armenian Church as a call “to go forth” among its people, and into the world.

THE ENTHRONEMENT OF OUR PRIMATE

With a spirit of joy and hope, the public is cordially invited to a special “Service of Enthronement,” during which Fr. Mesrop Parsamyan will take his place as the 13th Primate of the Eastern Diocese.

Fr. Mesrop Parsamyan expressed humble gratitude, appreciation for his predecessors, and optimism for the road ahead in his first message to the people, following his election as the 13th Primate of the Eastern Diocese.

A NEW PRIMATE FOR THE EASTERN DIOCESE

The 120th Diocesan Assembly of the Armenian Church of America, the clergy and delegates elected a new Primate, in the person of the Very Rev. Fr. Mesrop Parsamyan. Pending confirmation by His Holiness Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians, Fr. Mesrop will become the 13th Primate of the Eastern Diocese.
