The month of October is known as “The Cultural Month” for Armenians throughout the world. It is during this month that Armenian churches, organizations and people commemorate the memory of the Holy Translators who created the Golden Age of Armenian Literature in the fifth century.
A special observance of the 30th Anniversary of Armenia’s independence Day took place, on Sunday, September 26, at the Milwaukee Armenian Community & Cultural Center in Greenfield, WI.
I hear it all the time: “Our worship services in the Armenian Church are too long.” “The service on Sunday is in a strange language and I can’t understand what’s going on.” “I can’t relate to it.” “It’s not relevant to my everyday life.” “I don’t have time.”
The Milwaukee Armenian Cultural Committee is happy to announce that the first dance rehearsal will begin on Sunday, October 10, @ 3pm, under the direction of Mr. Hrachya Kostanyan of Hamazkayin Sartarabad Dance Ensemble of Chicago.
